I have been with the league for less than one day now, so I'm probably not the best source of information for the worst draft pick of all time (I barely know what I'm doing here lol). However.. I have it on good authority that Marcella Tōriki dashed a few hopes and dreams not long after being drafted.

Tōriki was drafted fifth overall in the 2033 NSFL Draft by the San Jose Sabercats. Over the course of one season, she showed a lot of promise and eventually worked her way up to taking on a starring role in the Sabercat offence. The young running back showed so much growth that she earned accolades as the season's Offensive Rookie of the Year.

After the Sabercats invested time and effort into her development, Tōriki crushed their expectations for a bright future by bouncing in free agency to the New Orleans Second line after playing just one season. Adding insult to injury, Tōriki signed with the New Orleans Second Line, a team that already had a stellar running back in Forrest Gump. New Orleans played both running backs and became pretty beasty.. which seemed to miff a lot of people. So I guess that makes this a pretty big bust for San Jose! (although super awesome for NOLA)
