Biggest bust of all time? Why don't you ask me a hard one. Everyone knows to the biggest bust ever was Brave Ulysses. That chump was such a waste of space, let alone a draft pick.
I ask you, who spends a real NSFL draft pick on an offensive lineman, when you get a bunch of bots to do it, with no picks expended? Why would you even create as an OL unless you were deranged and obsessed with the least interesting part of football - but I repeat myself.
There are two big payoffs for players in sim leagues: team success and personal stats. Since, as mentioned above, teams get freebie bot linemen, an offensive lineman player does not contribute to team success. And, since Offensive linemen basically get no personal stats, they don't have any payoff whatsoever. Don't try to tell me that watching them play can be satisfying. We've all watched the sim, we all know how ugly it is. You can't see the quick feet of the left tackle or the guard's sick pull to seal off the EDGE on an outside run. That soon sim is neither that detailed nor that watchable.
To conclude, any offensive lineman is a waste of a draft pick. That pick can always be used to draft an actually useful player. By being a drafted offensive lineman, Ulysses automatically is the maximum waste possible for that pick, and therefore the biggest possible bust.
