(S22) - PT3 - Boom or Bust

Well, there's so many possibilities to choose from. For me, I haven't been around that much in NSFL, even though I've had a player since S1 basically. (There might have been a season between my 2nd and 3rd players). So, there's probably a lot of players and a lot of busts that I'm not familiar with. There is one, that I consider a bust, that I'm pretty familiar with though. The aforementioned 2nd player, my own Luke Smyles. Smyles was a defensive end, taken 4th overall in S12. I peaked at about 450 TPE. There were a number of notable players taken after me in the draft, and though I had some decent seasons, there was nothing exceptionally great about Smyles' career. I don't even know what his final career stats were. The players taken in the 4 picks immediately after Smyles were James Bishop, Thorian Skarsgard, Grayson Kuusela, and Axel Hornbacher. Pretty elite company after a very mediocre selection in Smyles. I'm not even sure what Smyles' final career numbers were, because they aren't really anywhere in the top 10. The guys taken after him sure are though. Smyles was definitely a bust. It just wasn't interesting for me, being defensive line. I can accept that I was a bust, and the quality taken after me definitely makes it look worse in hindsight.
