The Minnesota Grey Ducks will win the Ultimini this year. That may be an opinion or a fact, but we are going to see it in action as the year goes on. Several bits of evidence point towards this being a very likely scenario. Let us begin by picking the low hanging fruit. The Ducks had the second best rushing attack in the league last year. With not only one, but two star rookie running backs, both of who managed to improve up to and beyond the dsfl tpe cap. Second best last year to first best this year is really easy to see as no other team has this amount of talent and continuity at the position. It is worth mentioning that all teams had more players called up than the Ducks, leaving the Ducks with a ton of capped players,mainly on the defense. It is definitely impressive to talk about the rushing attack, but dat defense doe.. linebackers that are absolute murderers and then likely the best secondary in the business. Two capped cornerbacks and two capped safeties, teams will likely be unable or unwilling to try to throw on this defense. A likely scenario is the Ducks getting room for a playoff berth by mid-season, and this is all without talking about the absolutely awesome rookies we just picked up in the draft, some of them which I am already quite fond of.
