It is well known that New York Silverbacks Fullback Buster ‘Boulder’ Bawlls is Scottish and is most proud of being the best Fullback to ever set foot on an ISFL field. Off the field is a different story, while players may be all about family values and sports endorsement, Bawlls is most proud of his partnership with Scotland's Tennent’s Lager.
This partnership is definitely a match made in heaven. Bawlls is known for his hard hitting, no nonsense style of play and some called him mad in trying to make it into the ISFL. Tennent’s Lager is known for being a ‘madman’s dream’ and I don’t know of another Scotsman or human more fitting or deserving of being the face of the company.
This partnership was first set on a collision course, when a young Bawlls downed a whole crate of Tennent’s by himself and then created a majestic crown made out of the finished cans. A photo of Bawlls wearing the crown went viral and Tennent’s reached out to him to discuss a possible endorsement. This starting something beautiful.
Both parties stay in regular contact with each other. When being drafted to the DSFL, Bawlls spent the draft at Tennent’s Wellpark surrounded by all the employees. The party afterwards has gone down in Wellpark’s history. Now that Bawlls is in the ISFL he supplies the tickets to any Tennent’s employees wanting to attend the Silverbacks games.
