I mean hell, I'd vote for you for president or CEO or whatever, but this isn't the way to do it in my opinion.
No offense taken man, I just think you're not understanding what I said. CEO isn't an "Appointed" position. Like I said, Chairman or President is an appointed/voted for position. CEO isn't the "highest" position. I just represent the players association itself as a whole.
For further example, think of congress. I would be the "Speaker of the house", who holds no more power than any other member, other than the fact that they play the role as the speaker, preserving order, administering oaths, and making sure the proceedings go according to plan. The 'President' would kinda be like the President of the united states, making decisions, acting as the liasion between the country and congress, and becoming the FACE of the country. This is why the 'President' role will be a voted on position by the members because THEY are the ones that act as the liaison between the players association and the league itself.
Now, to your point, like i said, once the association is set up and running how it is supposed to, I have to answer to our "Board of directors" which is the members, the players themself. If they want me out of there, its just a simple vote away that will be brought up in one of our meetings. I understand your concern and I respect it, i'm just letting you know that it's not valid and not warranted.
Hope I helped you understand haha. If not, just let me know. No worries.
