Including a Players Association

Question, if the job of the Players Association is to protect the players' interests from league power, why would the LEAGUE pay the officers?  Shouldn't players have to give up some of their pay, and have the officer salaries and other PA needs come from that pool?

Wow, fantastic idea. I would think this would make everybody true and really give some value to being a member of the PA. It wouldnt be much obviously, but each member would give a small amount of their salary to the pool of the executives. What a great idea... If we get more people that like this idea, we can absolutely do this.
