Including a Players Association

I'm not saying we should implement it now.  Maybe starting S5 after we expand again?  That would give every player time to play out their current contract.

I know it sounds odd, but we give out TPE bonuses for minor stuff at the end of the season, why not make this one of them if it makes for more realistic and competitive contracts?  @Ballerstorm

Were not giving out TPE for getting a fat contract. We have a mapped out schedule for TPE earning per season and how much we are comfortable giving out. As well, this would only encourage people to ask for a cent more than the next highest.

People will get big contracts, some people maintain high activity levels but as time goes on many veterans wont want to write as much as they used to and will go for paydays.

PS - I dont see expansion happening again for a WHILE.
