The only reason I made it to the ISFL is that I got famous on YouTube, my American football kicking tutorials blew up all over New Zealand, then Australia, then the rest of the world. The Tijuana Luchadores GM took a chance on me right out of the University of Auckland and the rest is history! I would be in a very different place today if I hadn't started that YouTube channel. I spent my entire career at university studying to become a teacher and playing on the football (soccer for you Americans) team and I was pretty successful at both. I graduated with a degree in teaching so I'd hopefully be teaching young New Zealand students to hopefully create a better tomorrow, on the other hand, I was receiving emails and messages from some of the big league guys over at the New Zealand Football Association looking at me to go professional over there. After all, my first love was football so it would have been a childhood dream come true to become a professional football player for one of the many professional teams, or even on the world stage as a member of the national team. If history was different I still know I'd be doing something I love which is absolutely amazing.
