Videl first discovered the sport when the international simulation football league flirted with the idea of expanding the league to international waters for the first time since the addition of the Yellowknife Wraiths in the league’s inception. It all began when the Austin Copperheads took on the Honolulu Hahalua in an exhibition game in Tokyo. This occurred in S22 when the hahalua first joined the league. But what if that game never occurred? Would the international simulation football league ever consider expanding to international waters? For one thing, Videl would never join the league’s farm system, and would never be a star for the Portland Pythons, instead in this alternate timeline, the pro baseball experience beats the international simulation football league to the international punch, resulting in young Japanese players to idolize the sport of baseball instead of football. She would’ve also owned a secret society dojo where she would teach the young ones her ways of peace, self defense, and always being prepared when the time for war comes. Videl has been the embodiment of Phoenix, and her philosophy in her fighting, shows that you have to show patience in the playing field and that you should be prepared for anything. That includes playoff futility and mental health.
