Darren Pama's most likely path in life, if he had not become a Football Player, was to become either a soccer player or a musician. In high school, where he first started to play sports seriously, he excelled due to his standout physical traits, while also playing Tuba in a band on the side. After his first couple years in high school he got picked up by his high school's football team, so if that never happened it's likely that he'd never have switched up tracks. He was much better at Soccer than he was at playing the Tuba, so he probably would have ended up a soccer player. This would actually have made his life a lot healthier, as he spent a lot of his time in the second half of high school and college bulking up to be a tight end, before having to slim back down. As Pama considers that part of life the absolute worst time he can remember and credits it with making him depressed, it's arguable that he'd be a much healthier, happier person today if he never had become a football player at all. "If nothing else" he comments, "I'd have at least stayed in the same 100 pound bracket my entire life if I never played football."
