(S30) PT 2 - Alternate History

If Jay Spears had never taken up football, his life would probably still have went towards sports. Starting with his last name of Spears, he did compete in javelin throwing in high school and he was good enough to throw in the state competitions. Without the love of football Spears would probably try his hand at becoming an Olympic javelin thrower (if it's not already a sport in the Olympics, it becomes one) and with putting his entire focus into that he would be good enough to win some medals. But that's only one possibility, another one would be less sports related. Outside of sports Jay Spears always liked being out doors, and so without the love of sports Spears would probably live somewhere semi secluded and be a handy man along with being a fisherman and hunter. While not quite living off the land or being one of those mountain men you see on TV, Spears would get most of his money from helping fix things around the town/city and selling excess food he was. The last possibility would be playing another sport but Spears probably wouldn't find any of the other major sports as fun as football.
