Well, the earth is flat, so Benson Bayley likes to take a globe before each one of his games and break it right in half before trying to flatten it out. Some teammates have wanted him to just get a map, but that is too mainstream according to Bayley. But, he really starts with that and then watches one of the old ECW PPVs. He is a big wrestling fan. So, after his workout, his cutting of the globe, and the PPV, he heads to the breakfast room. He needs a Chick-Fil-A sandwich with some Chick-Fil-A sauce on it. After that, it is time for film. He sits and studies everything about the receivers. He studies their social media profile, their college days, the tape from last week, he hopes to have something to exploit as well as something to chirp about. This is a gamely ritual that will take him to being the best CB in the league. He started in Game 1 doing fantastic so why change? Rituals and superstitions are something that people may not believe in, but also do not want to change. You do not want to change what is working, so no one is willing to risk it.
