Connor Tanner is a man of many beliefs and all of them involve superstitious rituals which are as follows:

Connor Tanner's socks: Connor is fairly simple yet also fairly complex with his beliefs, he believes that if you win a football you should not wash your socks afterwards, even going as far as wearing the same pair of unwashed socks for 19 weeks of football during his senior year of highschool.

Connor Tanner's pre-game meal: Before each game Connor Tanner fills himself up with a Floyd's diner lumberjack breakfast consisting of two eggs, 3 pancakes, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 sausages and some hashbrowns with a chocolate milkshake to wash it all down, he's being eating this pre-game meal ever since he was a sophomore in college.

And finally last but not least, Connor Tanner's phone call home: Due to the vastly different time zones his mum struggles to watch all of his games but leaving his home in Galway, Ireland wasn't easy for him so he decided to start every Sunday morning with a phone call home to his mother in order to put the good juju's into place, it hasn't failed him so far and hopefully it won't ever.
