The New York Jets are tanking this season, but before the draft they brought in top prospect Avon Blocksdale. Blocksdale was solid at Penn State, but always had more potential than he had shown in college. But when the workouts came Avon was impressive. He looked amazing in the drills, had a very impressive wonderlic score, and had tape that looked solid.
Owner Woody Johnson brought Avon in for an interview and that is where shit hit the fan. Woody asked Avon how he would feel about playing in the NFL and specifically for the Jets. Avon lost his mind. Avon went on a tirade against Woody Johnson. Avon said "Any man who donates to Donald Trump is a fucking bum. I'll play for the Jets because they're gonna pay me, but you gonna take an ambassadorship for that man? He's the devil and I cannot believe you supported him."
Woody was very surprised and almost stormed out, but decided to ask Avon about his thoughts on the NFL. Avon went on another tirade. "The NFL is incredibly hypocritical. I could beat my wife and y'all wouldn't have a problem with me. I could whip my kids and still get a job. But god forbid I smoke pot, or protest police brutality, y'all would suspend me or black ball me. Fuck the NFL."
News of Avons disastrous interview quickly broke out, and reporters asked Avon what happened. "I'm going to the NSFL," said Blocksdale. "They're gonna pay me not just to play, but for articles that I write and participating in fantasy football. Plus they legalized TPE there and everything. I'm gonna dominate in that league."
