1. Bork Björnsson’s first NSFL sack
Bork’s first NSFL sack came in his first NSFL game back in week 1 of S2. Bork sacked the soon – to – be – outed – as – a –cheater Noble of the Colorado Yeti in the 3rd quarter. The sack was clutch, coming on a crucial 3rd and 7. The Yeti would go on to win the game 27 – 17 and Bork would finish his first ever NSFL game with 5 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble. Not bad at all for a rookie nose tackle.
2. Bork Björnsson’s record- breaking 6 sacks in one game
In Week 3 of S3, just Bork’s second season in the NSFL, he set the record for most sacks in a single game with 6. This was against the Orange County Otters, who were highly touted as having the best offensive line at that time in the NSFL. But they had no answer for Bork, who racked up 6 sacks and led the Wraiths defense in tackled with 8. If Bork wasn’t a household name by this point in his career, he certainly was afterwards.
3. Bork first arrives in Yellowknife
Yellowknife is one of the most unique home cities in all the NSFL, located in the North West Territories of Canada. Bork remembers flying in on a small 20-person plane after being drafted in the first round by the Wraiths, and the relatively small city of Yellowknife greeting him as they descended through the clouds.
