When one goes back and thinks on the career of Allen Davis there are three distinct moments that stand out in the young player's career. First we go back to high school where Davis played for the Surprise Supersonics the #3 rated high school team at the time and he played both sides of the field Safety and Wide receiver. It was tied in the third quarter of the high school state semi finals and Davis had just taken a little screen pass all the way to the house for a touchdown and the lead when he came back out on the field for defense. The offense looked good as they drove in to enemy territory until the QB stared down his receiver over the middle as Davis jumped in front of the pass and ran the ball all the way back for a touchdown. Two consecutive touchdowns from Davis crushed the momentum of their opponent and they would go on to win. The second defining moment would come in his days at U of A. Davis and the Wildcats were playing the Ducks in Eugene and Davis came up with a huge sack/fumble on a safety blitz that resulted in the offense getting the ball back and taking the lead late in the 4th to give them the win. Lastly, one of his finest moments on the field came in the NSFL ultimus game. Even though the game was looking bad for the Sabrecats Davis sealed the game by blocking a Sabrecat punt and giving the Outlaws the ball back in Sabrecat territory to extend their lead.
