When looking back at my career so far, there moments really come to mind. The first was when my college team, the Ohio Bobcats won the MAC championship. We were at Ford Field, in Detroit, Michigan, and it was our first time getting to the championship in my lifetime. The coach had taken a chance on me as a walk on and I eventually earned myself a starting role, and this was my big moment. The game was tense, back and forth the whole way, a real defensive struggle. But, at the end, with the game on the line, up by 2, we lined up to stop a last second hail Mary to put our opponents into field goal range. I was on the number 1 guy and knew the ball was coming my way. I kept my eyes on the QB the whole time and solidified it with a pick.
My next biggest moment was getting drafted. From a walk on freshmen at a non-power 5 school, to a draftee is a huge deal, and I was incredibly honored a team would take a chance one me, let alone make me a starter.
The final biggest moment was making the pro bowl. One of the biggest honors you can get in the league.
