The 1st pick in the S3 NSFL Draft, Antonio Sandoval, has had many memories over the course of his time playing the sport of football. Some of his favorite memories include:
The Time he Flipped a Big Boy
Antonio Sandoval was playing offensive line for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college. They were in a big game and Antonio Sandoval needed to protect his Quarterback in a big moment. If they could beat the University of Florida, it would spike them up the rankings and lead them to a potential spot in the 4 team playoff. As the pocket collapsed, a big boy, 320 lbs Defensive Tackle for Florida came charging at Sandoval. Sandoval flipped him right over, and his QB made a beautiful pass to win the game for the Fighting Irish.
His First Receiving Touchdown
You heard that right. The offensive lineman got a Receiving touchdown. The coach at Notre Dame ran a very tricky offense and one of his most devilish plays was giving the ball to an OL to score a running touchdown. However, Sandoval didn't grab the ball, and instead ran a fly route towards the end zone. It worked, and he got a receiving TD.
Draft Day
Sandoval was shaking, so when his name was called for the first pick in the draft he was ecstatic. He runited with his Brother and they settled their differences.
