After the new “Real Housewives of the NSFL” series episode focused on the Wraiths, there was some considerable feedback as to why no wife or girlfriend for Kevin Cushing? Twitter got practically bombarded with a flood of tweets all tagged with #NoCushingCutie. The term “Cushing Cutie” was in reference to an off-field engagement where the former linebacker and now cornerback Kevin Cushing had appeared at about one week prior after a road loss in Arizona. At the event, there were several pictures of him with his arm around a younger woman who was later revealed to have been an Arizona State University student.
Unsurprisingly, when “Real Housewives” cycled back around to the Wraiths again, one of the scenes was a dinner hosted by Rachelle Maddox, wife of tight end turned defensive end Ricky Maddox. The dinner featured a variety of wings, mostly a combination of sweet and spicy. Cushing’s girlfriend, whose name was revealed to be Lindsey Zimmerman, clearly seemed uncomfortable in the setting. She and Cushing sat near each other, but there was very little contact, in stark contrast to the pictures taken after the game against the Outlaws. Many are speculating that the two are no longer dating, but that she was paid to appear on the show.
