#31 Erlich Burnsman is a touchdown machine. No matter the situation, Burnsman seems to have a knack for finding his way to paydirt when given the opportunity. At 8 Rushing TDs so far in season 3, Burnsman leads all backs, a full 3 touchdowns ahead of the next highest scorer. He is the best scoring back in football today.
.
Additionally, Burnsman leads all backs in yards per attempt (min. 20 attempts) at 3.6. Even with a very low 101 attempts, Burnsman paces all RBs in points. Helped immensely by fantastic qb play from Boss, Bursman reaches pay dirt once every 13 attempts.
Will this pace continue for the rest of the season? Unlikely, though he has a good chance to end the season as the top scoring back. Burnsman is also in a very good position to set the new league record for most rushing touchdowns in a season, currently held by O. Wright with 9TDs. Burnsman needs one more score to tie that record and just 2 more scores to break it. Simply a roleplayer for the Otters, Burnsman is no workhorse. He is a simply a fast back in a great offense who has been set up for success with excellent play calling, but those factors all combine to make him the best scoring back in NSFL.
