As a running back, Boss Tweed excels at something simple: running. While Tweed succeeds at traditional running back skills, such as making good reads or juking out defenders, any running back could learn those skills. What really makes Tweed a special player is his speed. Boss Tweed is faster than any other player in the league. Every move he makes as a runner is amplified in its impact when none of the defenders can catch up to him. Tweed has spent the last couple seasons focusing mainly on training his speed and it has paid off as he can now leave most of the league's defenders in the dust when he takes off running. Although the Yeti are not known for the strength of their offensive line, Tweed has still been able to succeed as a runner because his natural speed allows him to burst past the line quickly so the offensive line only needs to hold their blocks for a short time. Last season, Tweed's 3.7 yards per carry was the highest among starting running backs which came in large part from his speed allowing him to make consistent gains on the ground. While Tweed's speed does not look like it will be able to increase any further, his current speed will still allow him to be a successful player for a long time to come.
