The best defense in the league is led by one man and it's not even close.
Jayce Muhhfxkn Tuck.
Ricky Maddox wanted to provide a similar ability to the Yellowknife defense to give them an edge. With six more weeks in the regular season, he hasn't done that. A respectable year up until this point, at least for the transition from Tight End and Defensive End, but he hasn't lived up to his defensive idol's expectations.
We can go strictly on a statistical standpoint. Maddox has 36 tackles so far. Do you know how many tackles Tuck has?

Yup. 23. If you're keeping count of where that stands with the GOAT TE/DE™, that's more than TRIPLE the sack count. That is simply amazing in itself. Leading the league in sacks in both the league and at his position by more than seven sacks.

Already broke his own record for sacks, I can't speak on him for too much longer, the envy is becoming real every second. Haha I still can't help but respek the gangsta, though.
