The third NSFL season may not be finished yet but this must be said right now. Alexandre LeClair is by far and wide the most improved player this season. Just look at his stats and you’ll be seeing it clear as day. Back in S1, LeClair put up 754 yards as a #2 receiver on the Wraiths. In S2, on the new expansion team, the Las Vegas Legion, LeClair put up 743 receiving yards, again, as a #2 receiver. This season, not only has he been able to take over the #1 receiver position, making Stormblessed an expendable asset, he is currently at 1002 receiving yards in only 10 games played. He is on pace for 1400 yards. That would be almost double, that’s right, double his total yardage in comparison to his previous seasons. All the while, the Legion has been, for a lack of a better term, terrible all around with fans claiming that the coaches, the players and upper management should all be fired for sheer incompetence. It’s not only the yards received though that are a vast improvement for LeClair. He is statistically better in every facet of his game, whether it be touchdowns, already more than in any previous seasons, average yard gain, and number of catches received. This player has finally reached what players like to call “the next level” and burst onto the stage as a star for his team. There are not many bright spots in Vegas these days, but LeClair is one of those bright spots.
