John Canton is one of the best CBs in the league, we saw that last season and again this season. One of the reasons that he is a top CB is the number of PDs he gets. He is a top CB because he forces incompletions, derails drives, and terrorizes your top WR. Canton ended the season last season with 23 PDs, the highest in the league. This ability to disrupt the WR and stop drives cold is what makes him a good finisher and one of the best DBs in the game right now. He started off slowly this season, and currently has 15 PDs. However he’s trending in the right direction as the season comes to an end, as he had 7 PDs in the previous 2 games. He also has 3 more interceptions than he did last season, so he’s become more well-rounded and has a legitimate claim at best CB in the league. He terrorizes those who oppose him, and there is a reason that the SaberCats secondary is considered to be one of, if not the best secondary in the league this season. Canton is at the helm of that top defensive backfield, and it’s not hard to see why he is their top DB.
