The Baltimore Hawks face off against the Philadelphia Liberty for a chance to play for the Ultimus Trophy. At quarterback for the two teams will be Scrub Kyubee of the Baltimore Hawks and Clifford Rove of the Philadelphia Liberty. The two quarterbacks had very comparable stats in many facets of their game during S3. Scrub Kyubee threw 482 passes and completed 289 of them for a completion percentage of 60%. Clifford Rover threw 514 passes and completed 286 of them for a completion percentage of 60%. When it came to touchdowns Scrub Kyubee threw 20 touchdowns to 10 interceptions while Clifford Rove threw 20 touchdowns to 24 interceptions. In the end, Scrub Kyubee finished the season with a quarterback rating of 83.3 while Clifford Rove had a quarterback rating of 70.0. The Baltimore Hawks finished at the top of the NSFC with a record of 9-5 while the Philadelphia Liberty came in second with a record of 8-5-1. The Philadelphia Liberty offense led by Clifford Rove scored 326 points while the Baltimore Hawks offense led by Scrub Kyubee scored 317 points. When comparing these two quarterbacks it seems like Scrub Kyubee was the better quarterback from an individual stats comparison but when looking at the two teams offenses the better offense was led by Clifford Rove.

The Arizona Outlaws face off against the Orange County Otters for a chance to play for the Ultimus Trophy. Today we are going to compare two linebackers, one from each team. From the Orange County Otters we have Ian Bavitz and from the Arizona Outlaws we have Luke Luechly. Ian Bavitz racked up 111 tackles with 6 being for a loss of yards while Luke Luechly managed to accumulate 95 tackles with 3 of them being for loss. Both Ian Bavitz and Luke Luechly forced 1 fumble each but Luechly managed to recover 2 fumbles compared to Bavitz recovering 0 on the season. When looking at sacks Ian Bavitz had 8 sacks while Luke Luechly got 13. In pass coverage Ian Bavitz snagged 2 interceptions and deflected 7 passes compared to Luke Luechly's 1 interception and 5 passes defended. When it comes to team defenses the Arizona Outlaws and Luke Luechly were by far the best defense in the league, only allowing 166 points. The Orange County Otters and Ian Bavitz allowed 288 points on the season. Everyone knows that the Arizona Outlaws defense is a powerhouse that the Orange County Otters will have trouble scoring points on, so this game rests on the Otters defense stepping up and trying to stop the Arizona Outlaws offense.

The Yellowknife Wraiths missed the playoffs in the National Simulation Football League for the first time in their teams history. Despite having a roster stacked with talent the team could not come together and gel as a singular unit. The offense looks like it should be one of the best in the entire league led by superstars at every skill position. Chris Orosz is one of the best quarterbacks in the National Simulation Football League, and he has targets at the top of their positions in wide receivers Josh Garden and Bailey Cook. In the backfield is S1 MVP Bubba Nuck and on the offense line is two of the best in the game in Jogn Floggity and Mat Akselsen. For whatever reason the team could not come together and make it work during S3.
The Las Vegas Legion were not anyone's pick to make the National Simulation Football League playoffs. The team is still building slowly from expansion and is still working towards contending in the league. They have some solid pieces to build around and time will tell how they can put those pieces to good use. Until we see true improvement from the Las Vegas Legion there won't be too much debate about their playoff chances.

Philadelphia Liberty vs Baltimore Hawks
My choice for most valuable player in this game in none other than Baltimore Hawks wide receiver Trey Willie. The young play maker put the offense of the Baltimore hawks on his back and carried them into the Ultimus championship. Trey Willie had 5 catches for 117 yards and 3 touchdowns in the game, all leading his team in each statistical category. Scrub Kyubee knew that when he needed a big play he could turn to Trey Willie and the wide receiver would make the play. When they got near the red zone it was more of the same, Scrub Kyubee looking for Trey Willie. The Kyubee to Willie connection was the main focus of the Baltimore Hawks aerial attack all season and the team leaned hard on it in this game. The fantasy stock of Trey Willie will surely be on the rise with such a huge game in a big spot. It will be very interesting to see how the young wide receiver can use this success as a jumping board into next season. One can predict that the Baltimore Hawks will be a strong team yet again that runs through running back Darlane Farlane, but things may change a little for next season if Trey Willie continues to be a top notch wide receiver.

The Yellowknife Wraiths missed the playoffs after a very disappointing season that came with many high hopes. The team has all the talent in the world but just could not put it together on the field enough times to earn a playoff spot. Some games the offense was on fire but then the defense would collapse and they would lose a shootout. Other games the defense would stand on it's head and the offense couldn't muster anything at all. These inconsistencies combined with a couple game plan problems were all it took to de-rail this would be playoff team and set them on a course for the golf course. Fans can only hope that heading into next season the Yellowknife Wraiths can find some balance and consistency within their team and can be the powerhouse that they are fully capable of being. The team is loaded with talent and even if they lose star wide receiver, Josh Garden to free agency they should still be a team that can compete for the NSFC title at the very least. The goal for the team is, and always will be the Ultimus Trophy, but after a lackluster S3 the team needs to make it to the playoffs before they can make it to the big dance and have a chance at the glory that is the Ultimus Trophy.
