Marc spent his offseason in Tasmania, searching for a set of ruins that was off-handedly mentioned by Aboriginal researcher and explorer, Rhys Jones. He was able to find them and documented the entire process for the National Discovery Channel in an exclusive television event. In a very uncharacteristic and public setting, Marc was able to explore the depths of the ruins, discovering multiple Aboriginal relics and tomes. He displayed his intelligence and deciphered all the tomes and explained what each relic was used for. Most of them were tools or documents of history. At one point in his expedition he turned off the camera to "take a rest" and his cameramen claimed he did not rest at all but disappeared for about 45 minutes and returned with some glowing stone that he never showcased in the NDC Special. How did this help prepare him for the NSFL? Well, intelligence is a key part of being a solid defender and sharpening his intelligence and increasing his hands, by handling rare artifacts, he should be able to increase his interceptions. What? That makes no sense? Maybe not to you... but it makes perfect sense to him. What is that stone? Nothing. Stop asking stupid questions.
