The Las Vegas Legion shed the tainted skin of former General Manager Tyler Varga and promoted two in-house candidates in Ardie Savea and Connor Tanner and ownership has to be beyond pleased with the results thus far. Already possessing two wins on the year and one game from .500, the Legion look to actually have become a formidable team to play against. A massive part of this is from the off-season when future league record setter Wallace Stone took the charge to change from offensive line to quarterback. Standing at a massive 6'8'', Stone brings the big bodied, stand in the pocket and make the right throws to a Legion team who was tired of having a quarterback make the wrong read consistently. Also coming to the Legion were elite level players in Wyatt Fulton and Phillipe Carter. Fulton, fresh off a season that saw him win defensive player of the year, came from a solid but underperforming Wraiths squad to an abysmal Legion team. Why he chose to do that isn't overly known but many tie connections to former GM Tyler Varga have pursued interest in making sure Fulton would come to Las Vegas and using their friendship as a factor. Carter and Fulton made a joint decision for free agency and fresh off a championship in Arizona, he was probably looking for a challenge, a new way to prove himself as a player. Well to anybody who didn't realize what kind of talent Carter was, you better start noticing now.
