Josh Garden famously left the Yellowknife Wraiths to go to the three-time champion Arizona Outlaws. Many in the league were upset over this move, given that the best Wide Receiver in free agency picked the best team. Many wanted more parity in the league and him to go to a worse team. But for him, everything seems to work out. Garden leads the league in yards and is second in the league in catches and touchdowns. Overall, he is easily the most impressive Wide Receiver this year. The Outlaws are 4-2 and should still be the favorite to win the title a fourth time in a row. Still, one has to imagine a league where Garden does not join Arizona. Maybe they struggle more and are only 3-3 and miss the playoffs. Maybe another team would be helped by Garden and eventually reach the playoffs instead. Someone like Colorado or the Legion as the worst teams in the league could have used Garden tremendously. The Liberty could be a playoff team with Garden. He could have even helped his Wraiths out. Any decision but this one would have been better. It really could have been a much more interesting league if he made a different decision.
