There have been plenty of events over the years. Some of these events were large and some of them were small. I think the event that stands out to me the most is being drafted so late by the Otters and being placed second on the depth chart behind Robert Phelps. In my rookie presser which seems like forever ago, I said that I just wanted to play for an NSFL team and I didnt care where on the depth chart I landed. At the time this was true but there was always that part of me that said I deserved to be the number one wide out and I should be. As the season began and the inaugural year started I felt more like a 1.0b rather than a 2. After learning the culture and the people in the Otter locker room and seeing my teammate Robert Phelps succeed in so many ways I really felt like I had a lot to learn still despite how well we both did. If I wouldve been thrown into the number one position right away I feel like I wouldve gotten cocky, careless, and wouldnt have tried as hard as I did to get where I am today.
