There are many decisions that have happened in Vincent Sharpei’s short career that could have had him in a completely different spot then he is in now. What if Baltimore brought him back after their waiver pick up of Sharpei in Season 1? What would have happened in Vincent Sharpei didn’t get drafted #4 overall in Season 2 to the San Jose Sabercats? Or how about this past off season where Vincent Sharpei almost left San Jose to chase rings elsewhere, like say Arizona? So many decisions have been on Sharpei’s shoulders since entering the league that it is very difficult to pin point just one moment that has affected him. The biggest decision that Sharpei has made that has if was something else would of completely changed the outlook of his current situation would clearly have to be when he decided to drop 50 pounds and move to the other side of the ball. Vincent Sharpei, after resigning with San Jose, decided that Offensive Line wasn’t for him and went into a vigorous training regime to become a Linebacker. He dropped 50 pounds, and has been a forced to be reckoned with, slotted at Middle Linebacker. This decision has to be the biggest one of his career, and it could of all gone elsewhere if he decided to become a nose tackle.
