For Gregory Fletcher he made one major decision that changed everything in his life. Had he choose differently he would never be in the DSFL, and that is to play football. Rewind to a time before Gregory Fletcher was a top corner back in the DSFL and even before he dominated the college or even high school level, but to a time between elementary school and middle school. A very young Gregory Fletcher had never played football before. Sure he loved watching it with his dad but Gregory loved and admired his dad so much he would have enjoyed watching paint dry with his dad! However one day he went to the bowling alley with some of his friends. It was finally summer and the boys wanted to get out and have some fun! So after a few rounds his best friend at the time decides he wants to play in the arcade located in the back. Now in this particular bowling alley as you walk to the arcade there happens to be a bulletin board where the community hangs all sorts of posters flyers and so on. Now on the board was a piece of paper that would forever change young Gregory's life. In big bold letters it said at the top "COME JOIN THE MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM! TRYOUTS THIS WEEKEND!" The flyer catches young Gregory's attention and he grabs the flyer. Wanting to try the sport he raced home to ask his parents if he could. After a heated debate with his mother (She was worried football would be too dangerous!) Gregory tries out for his middle school football team. The rest is history in making my friends.
