Did you know that it is illegal to have snowball fight in a public park in Aspen, Colorado? A group of Yeti players, including Boss Tweed, learned this the hard way last year. After playing their final game of Season 3, the Yeti players decided to blow off some steam at the conclusion of a long hard season. They went to Aspen for a day in January to unwind and have some fun. It had recently snowed and the entire ground was covered with a blanket of snow. At one point, they passed by an empty park with an undisturbed sheet of snow covering it. They decided to have some fun and it turned into an all out brawl with snowballs. After about 10 minutes, a group of police officers came by and arrested them. They were confused at first but then they found out about Aspen's strange law. They had to spend a few hours in jail until some team officials eventually arrived to speak with the police and bail them out. Luckily, the did not face any further punishment and were able to return to practicing as normal. It all turned out all right, but it just goes to show that some places have very unusual laws to watch out for.
