Fucking PR events. Cushing, attention whore that he was, was generally fond of photo ops, but naturally this one was a little different. For this event, headlines were still generally focused on his recent arrest and still-pending charges for public indecency. There were even some members who felt that Cushing had no place volunteering around families where children might be scarred by him once again deciding to pull out his member in public. After considerable consultation, Cushing eventually relented, cancelling his involvement in the door to door needy family food donation event, citing “unfortunate circumstances.” Instead, he volunteered at a food bank, mainly working in the back stocking items. It was shit work, and the only breaks were for a couple of photos with the other volunteers and organizers, but it gave him something positive to have published alongside the more popular stories and brought a small amount of public sympathy his way.
