Ok so first thing is first. How in the world did John Wachter drop all the way down to number 3 in the draft? I think that there may have been an error and someone accidentally misspelled his difficult name to Carlito Crush and missed on a turn of the century player. Now don't get me wrong, Carlito Crush is a great pickup for the Yeti, but was he great enough for number 1 overall in the draft?
There is a reason John Wachter won so many awards at the DSFL, he absolutely dominated. We haven't seen a receiver quite like this in years, I don't think we've seen a single PLAYER this good in years. There is no ceiling for this kid, he can be the best player we will ever see in the history of the NSFL. And i'm serious, he was the best player on the clear cut best team and DSFL champions, the Portland Pythons.
Now maybe i'm wrong, maybe this kid can't deal with the elite of the elite corners of the NFSL, it may take him time to have a near 2000 yard season. But I am almost certain we'll see the name John Wachter etched into the highest ranks of the NSFL Hall of Fame.
