I'm excited to see what John Wachter can do out in the NSFL with the Baltimore Hawks this season. Drafted 3rd overall, Wachter is a possession receiver with real speed, a massive boon, and I think almost from the first game he's going to be able to be a handful for any defense in the NSFL. He has that rare ability to keep going and pick up first downs when there's very little being offered to him and I think he's got the uncanny ability to push things forward even when the play gets tough. Wachter was fantastic in the DSFL last season, scooping up a shedload of individual awards and the Hawks are going to want him to come in and try and bring that kind of elite skill to the NSFL from day one. Adding Wachter to the Hawks offense gives them a real shot in the arm, he's the kind of guy you can look to as your go to receiver but will also be able to play the role of running tight routes and picking up the medium gains against all kinds of defense. Wachter is going to be a big addition for the Hawks and if what we've seen from him in the DSFL so far is anything to go on, he could be one of the biggest adds to the league in a while. Expect him to deliver the goods this season as a potential rookie of the year candidate.
