PT -1 Rookies:
If you were to pick any rookie which brings back a good culture to a the locker room in the National Simulation Football League, the most obvious answer would be Ryan Sierra. Since offensive linemen have become a rarity in the higher and lower leagues, drafting an offensive line says a statement to the other teams in the league about what type of team the draftees wish to become in a few years. The Otters selected Sierra, which certainly sent a message across the league.
The Otters, the team which set the standards for high flying offense which set the league record for most passing yards in a game: (five hundred and five total yards against the legion.) Drafting an offensive lineman to this team and forgoing an entire defense is a difficult move to defend to the rest of the team and the general management staff.
Shortly after the draft wrapped up, the Otters management announced they would be switching Ryan Sierra over to Defense, where his frame fit perfectly as a defensive tackle, for the line needy Otters. With the retirement of JD Boom, the one area where the Otters have talent openings is sure to be at the second tackle position, rushing the passer and stuffing the runs.
