Carlito Crush went first overall in the NSFL S5 Draft. Not a lot of Tight Ends go first overall in any football draft but Carlito Crush definitely forced Colorado Yetis hands. Crush one of the two Tight Ends that have been really looked at in the draft he has makings of becoming an elite playmaker for the Yeti if he develops nicely. Playing in Ohio State he dominated the line of scrimmage both by blocking and route running. His combine stats are pretty jaw dropping. At 6’6 260 pounds he can run a 40 in 4.46 which is blazing fast, 30 bench, 31.5 Vertical, 119.6 Broad, 4.28 shuttle, 7.16 3 cone. These numbers show one thing...that Carlito Crush is a freak of nature. Watching his tape in Ohio you can clearly see that the opposition had no answers for him. If they tried to put a corner on him Crush would blow him out of the water and just jump over him without any effort. If they tried putting a linebacker to cover him, Crush would use his speed and agility to just burn him. For such a big guy he has stellar footwork and hands that he can almost line up as a wide receiver and I would not be shocked if Colorado does try that out.
