Moving out to Colorado has been tough for Michael Tillman. The cold winter weather after living out in San Antonio, Texas in the warmer months really hit Tillman with a reality check. He has been seen working out for local charities and creating the annual "Tillman Tuesdays". Every Tuesday in December Tillman hosts a veterans dinner where any military vet in the area can be allowed entry with their family. Tillman belongs to a family of military vets and knows the hardship being a vet and being in a family with one can come with. Tillman has also been seen doing training with the Navy Seals over the offseason, citing it has been helping his endurance and toughness. Tillman had struggled early in the DSFL with his speed and endurance so training with the navy seals has given him a great improvement of skill. Having no family in state he set out to meet new friends and find out about the community he would be playing for. The newly acquired Colorado Yeti Draftee is already becoming a fan favorite around the area due to his heart and ability to make plays on the field. Tillman says he wouldn't have his holidays any other way.
