There is no rest at all for the best players in the NSFL. Avon Blocksdale went home for Christmas for one day, but right after went right back to throwing footballs and getting better. Avon has worked tirelessly this off season attempting to become a stronger passer, make his throws more accurate and become more intelligent at reading the field. Additionally he is now going to have two amazing new targets to work with. He already has great chemistry with Trey Willie, but he also has started to develop great chemistry with multiple time Pro Bowler Alexander Leclair and stud rookie (and DSFL MVP) John Wachter. Avon has not really rested over the holidays he has just focused on getting better.
In addition to working on his passing Avon has also attempted to increase his agility. Avon took a fairly high number of sacks last year and is attempting to cut down on those numbers for this year. Additionally during this Christmas break Avon wanted to set goals for this season. Avon wants to be the best QB in the entire NSFL. He has his sites set on Matty Aks on the Wraiths, Chris Orosz in San Jose, Mike Boss in Orange County and King Bronko in the Arizona Dessert. Avon thinks that this year he can be one of the best QBs and he's excited to follow up his pro bowl season with an even better one. Christmas time for Avon is a good time prep.
