For the holidays this year, Eli Kamaka invited Micah Hendrix and his family to Hawaii for a good old fashioned Hawaiian Christmas. After being invited to Thanksgiving by Hendrix it only seemed appropriate and with the way the weather is on the east coast right now, it was an offer that Micah certainly wouldn’t refuse. The weather was fantastic and there was so much to do from surfing and fishing to just relaxing on the beach. Of course, the two families also had to play some football on the beach as well. Micah and his wife Tori also took some time to do some sightseeing while there. They visited Volcanoes National park as well as Green Sands Beach, some of the more well known natural sites on the island. Of course all of that hiking and adventuring could be exhausting so it was great that the best part of the entire trip, the Christmas day luau, was full of food, music and just relaxing. It truly was a special trip and an overall much needed break for the two teammates after another long season that saw the Liberty playing in the playoffs yet again. Comradery like this is one of the reasons that the team has been so successful as of late.
