This holiday season, Clifford Rove will be spending the holidays with his family back home in Tennessee. The main event of the holidays will be watching his brother Sturgill pitch in the inaugural PBE world series for the New York Voyagers. Clifford is hoping for the win (along with an ultimus for the Liberty this year), so that the brothers will have won championships in the same calendar year. The Rove family is also well known for its annual “Ice Bowl”, an annual pick up football game between the extended family. Clifford and Sturgill tend to play quarterback, and it is usually a toss up as to who will win. That is the main holiday tradition in the Rove family. The only other one is the Christmas Eve dinner, in which the entire family gets together to eat a Thanksgiving style dinner, along with some southern favorites such as fried chicken and some grits. While it won’t feel quite the same without Sturgill this year, everyone will be sure to be rooting for him during the holiday season. Clifford will also of course spend some time with his friends, generally grabbing a bite to eat at the local pizzeria. He hasn’t let the fame get to him, and his friends all report that he is the exact same guy that he was in high school, albeit a little more mature.
