I think Borkus Maximus should definitely win a DSFL award. Even though the Kansas City Coyotes are 3 and 7, but I really believe they would be much worse without him. They are throwing more than most other teams in the league with Borkus getting 429 attempts and completing the most passes with 231. Unfortunately he’s tied for 2nd in interceptions, but have 10 touchdowns this season. He definitely doing the best he can with what he’s been given and is helping out the failing team as best as he can. I hope that Borkus can get the Coyotes a few more wins before the season is through (although a loss against the Pythons!) and get them to a better record than last season. Stats wise I think Borkus is the best quarterback since he’s balanced in arm, intelligence, and throwing accuracy but the Coyotes offensive line can’t hold out for Borkus to get his passes off well enough. They have the lowest number of pancake blocks, but are only 3rd in sacks allowed so the offensive line seems to be protecting Borkus well enough to not get sacked but not enough to give him good looks to throw. Also, I’m glad that the Coyotes are staying in Kansas City!

Awards are tricky mistresses. Someone always feels like they get snubbed. Some don’t even get nominated and that really gets under their skin. But as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Right now, the beauty is Eric Kennedy. He may not be the best rusher right now but he is killing it in receptions. He currently has the most receptions and yards. There has never been another payer to have that many receptions in league history and there are still 4 games left. This record may not be broken in a long time. Here are a look of some of his stats.

Like I had said previously, not the best rusher. However look at the rest of those stats. I don’t know what award you would want to give him but he definitely deserves it. How many records can he break, that’s the real question.

Eric Kennedy should win Offensive Player of the Year (and probably Breakout Player of the Year), but neither top RB nor top WR.

Top RB, in my opinion, should go to the best running back (obviously). We can and should look at receiving numbers in addition to just rushes, but when an RB (as of week 10) has 100 receptions compared to only 34 rushes, I don't think you can put them in consideration for best RB. Despite being an RB by nature, Kennedy just doesn't get enough action at the RB position to warrant consideration for top RB, especially when you have guys in the league with over 200 rushes and over 5 times the rushing yards that Kennedy does.

Which leads me to the top WR award, which I think some people may argue he deserves. I think it's perfectly reasonable and logical to think Kennedy should win the top WR award, but I'm going to have to disagree. Kennedy simply is not a WR. He may get most of his snaps in the WR slot position, but just like how the real life TE Jimmy Graham gets most of his snaps at WR, nobody considers him a WR. Kennedy is not a WR and so he shouldn't win the top WR award, in my opinion.

However, I think Kennedy has the strongest argument out of any player in the league for the OPOY award. Breakout Player of the Year too.

Coyotes and I were shafted!

Bovo taking over as the GM of a desperate and dying organization is one thing. The team had already claimed the career of multiple GMs, but he was confident in both his experience gained in Yellowknife and his ambition to accomplish the impossible.

Knowing he had to make some big moves, he got started right away on the offense, unloading some of the dead weight from previous years and bringing in Jason Witten-esque tight end, Joseph Askins. Following that, he managed to bring in another big name, who despite the circumstance, wanted to be in Las Vegas, Dustin Evans.

Now, with these tremendous additions the offense felt reinvigorated, but there was still the issue of quarterback. There's where bovo went outside the box to grab former reject, Noble. While he lacked a desirable character, Las Vegas' qb play received a boon without a doubt.

They're all set to compete when they can sure up that porous defense. It's going to be an exciting next couple of years to watch this team, but they're without a doubt in the process of a resurrection. Though, perhaps they were never alive to begin. Put it that way and Bovo is all the more impressive. Regardless, it's clear to see he deserves GM of the year.

Connor Tanner is a shoo-in to be the Most Valuable Player of the National Simulation Football League. Looking at the rapid transformation of the Las Vegas Legion from bottom feeder to plucky underdog almost overnight proves that Connor Tanner orchestrating the mass retirement and blackmailing Legion players into joining it is the best thing that could've happened to the team.

For example, last season under Tanner's leadership the Legion scored a measly 234 points and finished the season with a point differential of -205. This season, through 11 games, the Legion have already scored 253 points (only 15 behind pre-season darlings San Jose Sabrecats) and are sitting at a differential of -113. You may be fooled into thinking the Legion are worse this season because of their record (3-11 last year to 1-10 this year) but that is not the case. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, they say, and Tanner tried to kill the team but failed and it is now stronger for it.

Not a single player in the league had that much of an influence on an entire team's trajectory and for that reason if Connor Tanner is not awarded league MVP there will be riots in the street and thunderdomes galore.
