This season will be William Ridley’s first offseason in the NSFL. Ridley tossed up whether or not he would attempt to join another league to fill up his time; however Ridley has a passion which has been fuelled by one of the Philadelphia Teammates.

The Wayward Beagle Organisation of Pennsylvania has been taking up a lot of Ridley’s free time in recent weeks and he is looking to having some down time between the end of the season and training camp next year to attempt to help find these beagles suitable homes.

“Caesar Millan originally taught me about the value of giving back to our four legged friends and I could think of no better way to do that than to help find beagles suitable homes.” Ridley credits his beagle Augustus with giving him the confidence to pursue his dreams of playing the NSFL.

“That little guy taught me so much about life, companionship, and friendship, and he taught me what is needed to be the leader of a pack.”

“It was never going to be easy, I currently have 13 beagles living in my 2 bedroom apartment, it’s getting crazy, people need to keep their beagles man. I think I’m going mad here.”

Ridley is hoping the donations will help these beagles find forever homes.

For additional income, Julian O'Sullivan does statistical analysis, such as the renowned ELO ratings, which are used for the NSFL here as well. O'Sullivan first got into statistics as a high-school student and then took statistics classes in college. Later his interest was especially heightened by sports and the NSFL especially, wanting to learn more and advance his knowledge. He particularly became interested in Data Journalism, using data and statistics to provide analysis on news, whether it is sports or not. His fascination of data journalism was especially furthered by his interest in fivethirtyeight.com, the website by Nate Silver, who also developed the ELO rating for football.

For additional income, Julian does proofreading of essays for local high-school students. This can be a frustrating task sometimes, as the quality for writing can sometimes be atrocious. But, it does pay a bit and is enough to pay bills and have some additional income.

And lastly, O'Sullivan also gives private tutoring in terms of football camps and training. He does little drills with kids and adults trying to become better. Some of the people who are using his tutoring are also current college players who might one day play in the NSFL, so we will see how that works out for him!

Josh Garden has has his demons in his past. There have been many well documented instances of Josh Garden getting in trouble for substance abuse and addiction problems. The young wide receiver bounced from league to league early in his career and was unable to find a place where he could stick because he was constantly getting in trouble and getting kicked out of leagues. Finally, after being banished from the Mexican Football League, Garden was finally admitted to a rehab facility. Garden got through the program and came out a different man. Since then he has become a model player in the NSFL and a stand up citizen outside of the NSFL. To try and give back and ensure others don't follow the same path as himself, Josh Garden spends his off-seasons volunteering at the same rehab facility that saved his career, and likely his life. He spends weeks at a time at the facility talking with patients and sharing stories. Although he is young, his life has had more ups and downs than most people have in their entire lives and the things Josh Garden has learned in his time on this earth, both good and bad, are learning experiences that he uses to help others become the people they want to become.

Everyone knows the NSFL doesn't pay it's players enough to survive. Monopoly money only goes so far.

Mat Akselsen has a way around that, car salesman. You may all laugh but this is a time honored tradition dating all the way back to 2014 when suspended fantasy football megastar, Josh Gordon, worked as a car salesman while away from the NFL.

It's a pretty tough gig compared to the NSFL, Akselsen wakes up at 5 am every morning, makes his covfefe and breakfast, and heads down to the store to get the jump on the soccer moms before they head for their afternoon poon session with their other lovers. Anyway, he's gotta look up all the cars in the lot and find out which ones are going to break soonest and get rid of them. Can't have a broken down car in the lot, not good for business and it costs money to fix it. Probably better to just pass that off to the consumer. Checking for issues requires kicking the tires, literally and basically banging around under the hood until something breaks or it all holds steady. Akselsen is a football player, not a mechanic, if it starts it's good to go.

Pricing? That's all up to the program on the little computer in his office. He just sells and he doesn't take no for an answer. He even once made Jayce Tuck buy a Yugo, even though he couldn't fit into it. They had to call a tow truck to haul it out of the lot to Tuck's house. At Tuck's expense of course, good business and all that.

Though football is Blackford Oakes' primary love, during the offseason he likes to spread awareness as a missionary and/or ambassador for his other love:

Marc Spector does not inform anyone what he does during the offseason. He is seldom seen because that is the way he prefers it to be. The only time he is seen for sure is when he is visiting his current girlfriend, Marlene Alraune. Because Marc was born into a wealthy family, and views his time in the NSFL as more of a hobby than a profession, he does not have any other jobs that anyone is aware of. There have been reports of Spector visiting a multitude of foreign countries, like Tunisia, Tajikistan, Laos, Java and Paraguay. Some speculate in his offseason, he helps these countries with various charities, others speculate he's the ringleader of an underground slave trade. Of course there is no concrete evidence he is involved in any form of illegal trafficking, but he's never outright denied the allegations. It could be entirely possible he is doing something completely different in these countries than illegal human trading or feeding the homeless and inoculating them from polio. Maybe he's doing stock trading, or simply vacationing. Since he never tells anyone what he is actually doing, we may never know. The only one who might have any answers is Marlene Alraune and she is busy running a football team in Chicago and refuses to the media about talk about her personal life with Spector.

As the self proclaimed best rapper in the NSFL Jonathan spends his off season days when he is not practicing and dominating on the field you can find him in the studio or writing lyrics to dominate the rap game. Though he is still currently a sound cloud rapper he believes himself to be one of the most underrated rappers in the game and quite often compares himself to the likes of Jay-z, Kanye(In the 2000s) and J Cole. He does perform at small time shows and makes most of his cash from YouTube ad revenue but that of course doesn't stop him from doing something he loves. Not really known world wide Jon is more popular around south Florida where he was born and raised, his popularity is slowly increasing in California mostly because he was drafted by Orange County. You might catch him performing at clubs or small stages in California or Florida during the off season. He performs many unreleased music or just freestyles, though he loves rapping and making music he never really has the time to make an album or a mix-tape though he says he plans on making one before he starts his second season in the NSFL. People always wonder why Budda has such quick feet. He proved this while playing QB and is still breaking ankles every Sunday at WR.

Most of his success can be attributed to being in ballet since he was a wee toddler. His mother has owned her own Ballet studio since 1996. As soon as Budda knew he wanted to pursue football he continued to stay in the class to work on his foot strength and foot work as a whole. To pay respects to the style of dance, as well as his Mother he comes back every summer to teach. He also visits to inspire other young football players to take the route he did!
