I've seen people use autisic as an insult to someone who has admitted to having autism. That's pretty bad.

Ah. You're right, Archon took being in character to mean that he could do whatever he wanted under the name of someone else and it should have been handled, but it wasn't. The clearest distinction for me in that instance is his incessance in the matter. I'll take responsibility.
As I said, I hope to enforce this rule with a better sense of judgement in the future.

yeah, i've seen that, PLUS the whole Aspie nickname for one of my players is pretty fucking low considering they made that nickname for a 14 year old. Bet they feel really strong and powerful about that lol

Recently we've noticed an uptick in personal attacks on people across both the forums and the league discord. It's important that we intervene now before this becomes even further out of hand.

This league is meant to be fun. A ton of work goes into so many different areas of the league. From the updaters, to the NSFL and DSFL GMs, my fellow head office members, and the large list of others that also contribute to this league, we all do our best to make this an enjoyable place to spend your time because we like to be here too. Sometimes we make mistakes, all of us, but at no point does any of this necessitate tearing someone down because you're upset with them. This includes the thunderdome. Perhaps "anything goes" is a misleading caption as it wasn't intended to be taken literally and there is still a point where too much is too much. It was never intended to be a hub for spiteful or vindictive speech, though we will be more lenient when it comes to TD topics.

When discussion devolves from simple trash talk into unnecessary and malicious verbal attacks on someone personally, that's the point where we have to step in. There is a line that we feel is not so gray, but if anyone has any questions on the matter, feel free to PM an HO member and we'll do our best to clarify. From here on out we'll be taking action when it comes to these sorts of offenses.

Good on you for finally doing something about this. Too bad it's two months too late. Where was this when @Archon made it his mission to single handedly ruin the league for an entire team? We had team members leave, and never come back, citing Archon as the singular reason. He did/said what he wanted, when he wanted, with zero reproach. I even made a post about it here almost two months ago to the day. It had over 500 views, so you can't tell me the HO didn't see it.

Again, thanks for FINALLY doing something about this, but I'm severly disappointed that it took this long.

Come on, man. If Archon was #1, you were #2. Don't give me this "possibly joining in" nonsense. Glad you changed, but you were towards the top of my least favorite list for a long time.
