Playing for more than one team, what's that? Ja Brill has been a die hard SaberCat his entire career & bleeds green & bronze. He has, however, had many opportunities to lineup against his ex-SaberCat teammates. Some names that come to mind, at least in recent weeks are guys like Benson Bayley, Darren Smallwood, Mayran Jackson, Ardie Savea & Cordell Joshua. Bayley spent parts of 6 seasons as a SaberCat before being traded to New Orleans. Smallwood originally came to San Jose via trade from Yellowknife & spent parts of 6 season with the Cats before leaving in free agency. Mayran Jackson was acquired by the SaberCats back in S3 via trade from Colorado & stayed until leaving via free agency after S9. Ardie Savea's an interesting one. He only played in San Jose for a very short time as a late season waiver claim back in S1. Don't let that fool you though, Ardie's a lovable character & we haven't forgotten about his brief stint by the bay. Last we've got Mr. Joshua. This one's unfortunate because there seemed to be some tension between he & QB Brad Pennington, who has since been traded, leading him to test free agency & take his talents to Baltimore.

The week 2 was a special one for one of the most known safeties in this league. Vikian Marmeladov started his career in Colorado and then he was traveling through whole league till he stopped in Baltimore. He passed his prime, but he had one more wish to fulfill - show his first team that he still got it. What made this moment even more important, it was his last season.
The game happened in Colorado. The game itself was tense as the home team almost could pull a comeback, but at the end of the day the Hawks took a hard earned 30-28 win. And Vikian actually proved that he still got it - 5 tackles, one sack and one broken pass. Very respectable stat for a veteran who is about to hang up his cleats. Despite of a tense game, the Colorado fans were cheering for every successful move by him. They also gave a standing ovation to him after the match was ended despite of the Yeti losing there. These teams also had a second matchup in week 9, but it wasn't that heartwarming since it happened in Baltimore and I'm sure Vikian will remember the week 2 game more. He also had better stats than in week 9 as well. ![]() Player Page Update Page
Alexandre LeClair spent a long time in Baltimore, lighting up opponents’ scoreboards with teammate, and fellow wide receiver Trey Wille. In fact, LeClair spent exactly half of his career in a Hawks uniform, the most he has for any team. His four top season came when he was in Baltimore, including a monster 1500+ yard season that would go on to be the best of his career. Although LeClair would’ve still had a place in Baltimore, he saw the writing on the wall. With regression hitting him hard this past off-season, he would’ve most likely gone on to be the #3 receiver in Baltimore. LeClair saw the writing on the walls and, understandably, left for greener pastures where his skills could be better utilized. Unfortunately for LeClair, a blockbuster trade for Carlito Crush once again saw him saddled with the third spot on the depth charts. Which is why the matchups between the Baltimore Hawks and his current team, the New Orleans Second Line, are so significant. In the 2 games against the Hawks this season, LeClair has finished with 137 yards receiving and 1 touchdown. While not exactly setting the world on fire, LeClair has shown he still has the moves to make an impact, and if the Hawks meet again this season, it could be in the biggest game of his career… the Ultimus.
