The most surprising outcome has to be the fact that the unification of the Ads has only brought downfall and ruin to the Wraiths. Each year with the unification of the Ads has been worse than the previous. Many in the land had heard of their coming. A common refrain to the wailing of babes was "Shut your fucking mouth or the Ads are gonna come and eat your head off". Many a wailing ceased after that shout, except for the Japanese babies under the pretense of scientific endeavors.
There was a prophecy fortold
In the dark and the cold
Of a trio so powerful
the rest of the league turned dourful
The Ads they were
smelly, stringy and covered in fur
No quarter to be had
These boys were bad, bad, bad
The rest of the league will quiver in fear
Their heads in their hands held so dear
It really doesn't matter, this dread
Because the Ads killed them dead
This prophecy was recounted at least nine time per night in the various households of sim land. The ominous feeling was palpable at the start of season 10. That quickly faded as the Ads simply performed worse and worse, never to regain that lofty status. Maybe there was a translation issue of the scrolls, they are fairly old and dusty as it were.
A big surprising outcome for this season would have to be how the Portland Pythons are now 13-1! Now that is something I can't believe if I didn't see it with my own eyes! This team is better than my older brother's team in S7 and I think they could take Portland to another Ultimini championship! Cox is doing his thing and swinging that ball like his dick depended on it, but the team is firing on all cylinders with maximum horsepower on offense and defense. We got the 2nd best offense in passing and rushing, but the best defense the DSFL has ever seen! Heck, the Pythons only allow an average of 12.9 points against them in a game. Another surprising thing is how the Tijuana Luchadores are 5-9 after winning 3 straight DSFL Ultiminis. They struggled a lot this season and have a middle of the road kind of team with offense and defense. Metaxas isn't doing so hot and he's been playing for awhile. I'm surprised I'm around to even watch him in the playoffs this season and I remember my older brother Cole talking about how dynamic he was when they played him awhile back. Maybe Tijuana finds a new quarterback next season to set them straight.

In the DSFL one of the big surprises in the year has to be the rookie quarterback for Kansas City Coyotes. L. Boechler coming into the season there wasn’t too much expectation from the rookie. But he played a lot better than what many have imagined. Throwing for 2578 yards he was limited with how many throws he was throwing with how good the Kansas running game was. But when he was asked to throw he did not hesitate and held his own. But he found chemistry with Nagasawa and almost got him to 1000 yards receiving. Nagasawa who is most likely done with DSFL and will move on to NSFL had some words about the rookie, “he is very good and I’m glad I got to play with him. Hopefully one day I’ll get to play with him again in the NSFL we’ll see”. Throwing for 11 tds and 11 interceptions but you saw him grow into his own as a player and you saw glimpses of how good he can be and will most likely have a successful career in the NSFL. Depending on where he gets drafted one can only hope the team gives him a chance to succed.
I think one of the most surprising outcomes that we saw this season was the breaking of the DSFL rushing yard record by Asipi. Normally it wouldn't be too shocking to see a run heavy offense have their lead rusher break the record but what is shocking about it is that he did it as a DSFL rookie and very fresh create. Asipi had between about 80 and 86 speed all season, that is not very high even for the DSFL. A lot of teams have a 90 speed primary rusher and they still weren't able to accomplish the 1800+ yards that Asipi III managed to accumulate. What is also pretty astonishing is that he also got within one touchdown of the DSFL rushing TD record also, both of those having been previously owned by young NSFL sensation and former Marshal Marquise Brown however he had set those in different seasons. If Asipi stays down next season and this Marshals rushing attack continues at the same pace one could expect even more production out of the guy. If not you could expect to see RB2 Fast Boija take over lead back duties and possibly look to break his own teammates record only one season later.
