2) SPOTLIGHT ON THE YOUTH
When you look at the youth of the Yeti, you can't help but look at the young cornerbacks Axel Hornbacher and Beau Montgomery. The young duo joined the squad and almost immediately stepped into starting roles for the team and helped them to a playoff berth. The interesting thing is that both men started off at other positions and found themselves thrust into new roles; Hornbacher started off as a safety and transitioned to cornerback while Montgomery was a linebacker who made the move to DB. Colorado may have got some dumb luck when they snagged these two players but it makes the management look like geniuses right now as they chase an Ultimus or two. The brightest star on the other side of the ball for the Yeti is James Bishop, an electric wideout who's ceiling has no limits. Bishop will be looked to as he tries to replace a retiring Howard Miller and the young man's shoulders will have to be wide to carry that burden. Trying to contain a player like Bishop in practices is great for Hornbacher and Montgomery as they learn how to shut down the best from one of the best. The young DBs are a large part of this team and fans should be excited.
