With the NSFL's large southern foot print, and the DSFL establishing a foothold in Mexico with the Tijuana Luchadores, the sport is continuing to march south in an effort to become the premier sports league not only in North America, but the entire western hemisphere. In an effort to corner the Caribbean isles market, as well and establish a profitable vacation location for the league to operate out of, I propose the Montego Bay Monarchs.
Drawing upon the long, mutually beneficial and universally lauded relationships the colonizing European powers had with the indigenous people of the Caribbean Islands - the swanky resort town of Montego Bay Jamaica proposes the team name Monarchs in honor of the crowns of Europe who helped develop the backwards nation of Jamaica. King's Court, the proposed arena, seats only 10,000 fans but is made up of field side pools, cabanas, lazy rivers and of course, an unusual large proportion of corporate luxury suites, with the most opulent furnishings and features available. The entire franchise would be a homage to the business titans of yesterday and the future, and the corporate profits would only further help the league's march towards international dominance. Besides, nothing says football more than watching a live game while relaxing at a poolside cabana with a cigar in one hand and a Pina Colada in the other. ![]()

Alright so I'm going to get wild with this one. My idea is for one of expansion teams is the Cleveland Greys. Their uniforms are going to consist of a dark grey jersey with light grey numbering. The pants and helmets are going to match the light grey coloring of the numbering on the jerseys. The mascot is going to Greyish the Grey. Basically he is just a dude that wears the color grey and gets the crowd hyped up. Oh you're probably wondering about the logo right about now... well there is no logo, the helmets are just plain grey with absolutely nothing else on them. Team members are also mandated to wear grey cleats as well. The Greys will be playing at a brand new stadium being built in Cleveland with money that was generously donated by the Grey family. All-in-all these are very exciting times for the city of Cleveland and we look forward to further development of this amazingly interesting and creative idea for a professional football team. Seriously, no one could ever be this creative when coming up with a mascot and theme to strike fear into the hearts of their enemies... the Greys. I really do hope that the expansion general managers take this idea seriously because it is simply fantastic.
I would like to propose the St. Louis Sabers!
The Sabers logo would be inspired by Saber-toothed Tigers. It could be stylized similarly to the Nashville Predators logo. They would sport red and black jerseys and be rooted on by their mascot, Sammy Tooth. This would be the team the Midwest can get behind as the NSFL has only really touched the coasts. St. Louis would have passionate fans through out all of middle America. Chicago only being a few hours away would allow this team to have a fan base much bigger than just Missouri. Other big cities such as Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, etc, would also lend it's self to a massive Midwest fandom. The team would play at Gateway Stadium which would have a view of the Gateway Arch as the Sabers battled whatever coastal team was in for the day. The city of St. Louis would rejoice with the addition of the Sabers. It would be a place to build history and to be remembered forever by the people. It would stand as the underdog team representing a seemingly forgotten region of this beautiful country. Let's bring football to St. Louis!
As the newest team to the NSFL, I'm here to pitch the Las Vegas Venom. Vegas has been a hotbed of activity for sports teams recently. They just recently got the Golden Knights hockey team and the Oakland Raiders have been clamoring to move there for like two seasons now. I say we get in on this giant pile of money while we still can. The Venom will use a rattlesnake logo, going with the desert locale that Vegas finds itself in. As for the colors, you have some options. I personally, being from the Pittsburgh area, like when sports teams coordinate on their colors, so I propose going with the gold and grey that the Golden Knights wear. You could also go the desert colors route and do like a rich reddish-brown color and then like a light tan. The Venom will of course play in Caesar's Stadium, because who doesn't want to play for a team that has the financial backing of one of the countries most prolific and historic casinos? It would certainly be a free agent destination for sure, as it would have access to all of many amenities that people from all walks of life enjoy in Las Vegas.
