Ultimus Week
1) Playoff Predictions, Reviews I’m going to do a quick review of the Outlaws path to becoming Ultimus champions. Game 1- Outlaws 41, Sabercats 21 Game one saw Arizona play the Sabercats, who were on a mission to make it to the championship game for the third time in a row. Both teams came into the game after average seasons with a 7-6 record. Former Seawolf and number one pick Brock Landers was the star of the offense with 4 catches for 102 yards for a 25.5 yards per catch average. The defense also won the turnover battle with Martavius Mack returning an interception for a touchdown. Game 2- Outlaws 31, Otters 3 The Outlaws struck first in this game and did not let up, as Orange County did not score their first points until a field goal in the fourth quarter. Another former Seawolf, Lucas Knight, was the best player on the field that day with 13 tackles and an interception. The Outlaws won the turnover battle again 3 to 1. Ultimus Championship- Outlaws 34, Liberty 31 This game was much more competitive than the 49-0 drubbing that was Baltimore over San Jose the year before. With both teams coming in 7-6, this game was one of the least expected matchups coming into the post-season. This was the first game the Outlaws lost the turnover battle (3 vs 0) but the defense held a bend-don’t-break stance and Jeffrey Murphy was too much to handle as he racked up 3 touchdowns on the day en route to an Ultimus MVP. 4) Head to Head Matchups I was most excited to see how two of my former teammates played against some other s15 competition: Wide Receiver Brock Landers against Cornerback Emoji and Cornerback Lucas Knight against Nacho Varga. Landers and Knight were teammates with me after getting drafted to the inaugural season for Norfolk not having bots so I was really routing to see them succeed. Let’s look into the numbers: (Now I know these matchups didn’t necessarily happen in the sim. However, in my head cannon they did) Landers Vs. Emoji I think it’s clear that these guys were pretty evenly matched all day. Landers did not have a breakout game in his standards with only 3 receptions for 36 yards. Emoji, however, did not have any picks or pass deflections- this is possibly due to Emoji not getting thrown to as much out of respect. My verdict: slight edge to Emoji. Varga Vs. Knight Varga definitely got the better of Knight on this night. He had 4 receptions for 59 yards. This is not groundbreaking but Knight only had 2 tackles, along with no pass deflections or interceptions. Knight was preoccupied with Varga all game. Verdict: Varga won. I think the Liberty won the S15 matchup I was looking for. However, football is a team game and it wasn’t enough to bring the trophy to Philly. 7) Next year The Hawks have an extremely proud tradition- they do not rebuild and every year is a competing year. This year unfortunately we just missed the playoffs but we’re in good position to be back in the playoffs next year. Let’s take a look at the offense first. Marquise Brown did leave but Dorfus Jimbo is awaiting to take the role of premier back. He’s active and running back is the least valuable TPE position on any offense anyway. Verso L’Alto is in regression but is still a max earner and will still be above league average at tight end next season. Receivers are Maddox, Espeyeeseetee and Nagasawa. The first two are active and high earners, while Nagasawa is a high TPE in active. Baltimore is still in a position to add one of the top two free agent reviewers, and if they do, they’ll likely regain the status of having the best receiving core in the nsfl. Havran is also coming off of his rookie year and is a high earner. Expect him to take a huge leap going into next year as one of the best qb’s in the league. Now the defense. After a shocking draft day trade, the Hawks will likely go into the season as the top TPE defense in the nsfl. The secondary is the best in the league, with Troyski, Hornbacher, and Asipi combining for about 2,500 TPE. The linebacker core has Ben Horne and Roenick from last year, as well as having Acho now move to his proper position off the defensive line. The d-line is the weakest position on the team but got a huge upgrade with Benson Harris, who is now the highest TPE d-lineman Baltimore has had in two seasons. 10) Rivalries It’s not secret right now that the Wraiths and the Hawks are two of the teams most set up for success in the ASFC next season. It’s also becoming more and more apparent that these teams have a bit of a rivalry going. Both secondaries are the two best in the league but are polar opposites; the Wraiths are very vocal in discord and twitter while the Hawks secondary is barely mentioned anywhere and active on neither. However, the Hawks secondary are the ones who lead the team through the s15 postseason and to a championship; the Wraiths haven’t proven themselves yet. Also, recently there’s been some Hawk slander due to there decision to trade draft picks for a good build, 400+ TPE player at the biggest position of need. This move puts Baltimore in a position to possibly be the highest earning defense in the league. Much of this slander has come from Leaf, the Wraiths defensive lineman. This is not to slander back at the Wraiths; they are a great team who is active and fun to have a little friendly rivalry with. Cooter and Corvo are two of the best young QBs in the league, and both teams matchup well on paper and in TPE. However, the proven success of the Hawks recently in having a championship is where I think they’ll gain an edge.
5. Spotlight on Youth
I’m gonna shine a humongous spotlight upon yours truly, the one and only Morgan Marshall. I was drafted by the Yellowknife Wraiths at the fourteenth pick in the S15 NSFL Draft, and for the past two years I’ve been running for the spooky guys in black and silver. This year we went 10-3 as a team, good for a second place seed in the NSFC. I rushed for 614 yards and 7 TDs to go with 459 receiving yards and another 3 TDs, so me and the other offensive cogs on the Wraiths were poised to make our run at the Chicago Butchers on their turf. It’s safe to say that i was rather underwhelming. I carried the rock 12 times for 54 yards, a decent 4.5 clip but one with no scores. To add to the salt on the wound, Morgan Marshall didn’t make too big of a splash in the air either. I only hauled in 2 catches for 12 yards, again with no touchdowns. Meanwhile, we as a team went one and done in the playoffs, losing to the Philadelphia Liberty at home. The Liberty went on to defeat the Butchers and fall short to the Outlaws in the Ultimini, while me and the other Wraiths head home in defeat to try again next year. 7. Next year This year’s playoff exit may have dashed the hopes of an S16 Ultimus for Yellowknife, but the Wraiths are well positioned to heavily compete for a title in S17 and beyond. Yellowknife is one of the youngest rosters in the league, hosting a boatload of young talent and some of the lowest amounts of regression in the entire NSFL. The Wraiths are captained by Cooter Bigsby, the fourth year quarterback coming into his prime as one of the most dynamic and dangerous passers league wide. A double headed dual threat monster in the RB room, established veteran Jerrod Canton and third year franchise star Morgan Marshall are prepared to tear up the competition through the air and on the ground. The wide receiving corps is headlined by Tommy Helanen, Josh Parker, and Nate Swift, making the offense one of the most potent across the league. On defense, the league’s nastiest defensive line is a terror for opposing lines, with Ryan Leaf Jr. flanked by Nero Alexander and Chad Maulolo. Danny Grithead returns off the heels of an MVP season, and the secondary is filled by other rising stars like Jaylen Storm, Logan Uchiha, and Giannis Croustis. This team is poised to make a massive impact and should be considered early favorites for a title. 10. Rivalries For many years running, my go to rival team has always been and will always be the blasted Tijuana Luchadores. Ever since the Forrest Gump led Luchadores bounced the Fabulous Five out of the playoffs in Season 15, my enmity has known no bounds. Gump is finally gone, but his agent Jimmy Dugan is a GM of the team and has left his dirty fingerprints all over his well-constructed roster. Beside him is an infamous man only known in educated circles as “Scorp”, legendary for his ability to suck. The Luchadores spent the last season gaming their way into a 12-2 record. One HO member was quoted as saying, “The Luchadores did nothing wrong, honest” before running away from the camera, shoving fat sacks of money into his pockets. Another impartial witness stated that “there was something fishy in the water down there” before showing up dead two days later, which obviously means something. Anyway, the Luchadores cheated the 7-7 Marshals out of a championship appearance, which proves that the DSFL is running out of new material. They then went on to demolish the Pythons 28-14 to win an Ultimini. Hopefully now they’ll go away and let San Antonio win something for once. 12. 1) I'll be doing a write up of one of the two ASFC Quarterfinals match up this season, namely the one between the Arizona Outlaws and the San Jose Sabercats. Heading into the game, this was certainly looking to be an interesting matchup, as both teams had maintained the same record of 7-6. In the first quarter, it was looking to be all Arizona, as they managed to get a pretty quick field goal on the board, followed up by a 20 yard run by Zephyrous for a touchdown, taking their lead up to a margin of ten. Their hot streak continued throughout the second quarter, as they managed to bulk up their lead to a whopping 24 points within the first four minutes. In the third quarter, it looked like the Sabercats were gaining momentum as they scored a second touchdown, and reached their closest point in the game, being down only 13 points (27-14). That being said, Arizona continued with the offensive firepower they were able to bring all game, and finished off San Jose with a crushing 41 - 21 final score. This game was incredibly interesting, as just looking at the team stats, one could easily assume that San Antonio would have one. They had a much better 3rd down efficiency, and were only one yard short of Arizona in total yards. They held the ball for only 14 seconds less, but had a much higher efficiency quarterback in Joilet L. Christ.--Arizona was able to mitigate this with a much more solid run offense, who were able to gain an average of 5.2 yards per rush.
2) The Quarterback matchup for the finals of the playoffs was exceedingly interesting this year. The two teams competing for the Ultimus this season were the Philadelphia Liberty, who were led by Adriana Falconi, and the Arizona Outlaws, who were led by Andrew Reese. Neither team was dynamite on offense, and saw steady, if not below average, contributions from their quarterbacks. Falconi had a very quiet night, putting up a modest 236 passing yards, and only contributing 1 passing TD to their team's efforts. On the other side of the field, Andrew Reese had a much more sporadic game--but ultimately one that got results. With a similar yardage total to Falconi of 256, Reese was able to make things happen, contributing 3 touchdowns total to the Arizona score. That being said, with also throwing two interceptions, Reese gave ample opportunities to the Philadelphia team to try and capitalize on good field position. Luckily, in what came down to a game of whose quarterback can score more (although arguably Arizona's rushing was the difference maker), Reese was able to throw more touchdowns than interceptions that Philadelphia could capitalize on, and won the day because of it. Ultimately it was interesting seeing two formidable quarterbacks duke it out. 3) (/s) I think the team that I actively root against the most would be none other than the Philadelphia Liberty. It doesn't make sense to me how they can make it this far in the physical arena of American Football when their mascot is a bell. Sure, maybe defensively that offers some redeeming qualities, but they have resigned themselves to never being able to make a move on offense. Just imagine a couple choice matchups--A bell versus a Butcher, who is presumably a human? Bell can't move, butcher has hands. Win for Chicago. Okay let's move it to the Bell's wheelhouse and have it go against the Second Line. Full band versus single band? Sorry Bell, you lose again! Now let's get interesting and go to this season's Ultimus matchup, which saw the Philadelphia Liberty (Bell) versus the Arizona Outlaws (Outlaw). Now, sure the Bell is most likely resistant to whatever firearm the Arizona Outlaw is carrying, but other than sit there and be largely unaffected by its shot, what else can it do? Maybe the Outlaw isn't as hefty as a butcher, and can't move the bell on his own--well outlaws most of the time travel in bands or gangs, so surely as a group effort they could figure it out, or apply dynamite at their leisure? Sorry Philadelphia--your mascot just isn't ferocious enough to survive the NSFL in a reasonable manner. ![]() [div style="width: 400px;"][select style="background-color:black; color:red; font-family: Arial; font-size: 13px;"]

Strategies
We've got a lot of work to do this off season if we want to lift the Ultimus next year. Firstly, we had an offense that finished nearly dead last, 9th in the league. Luckily we have alot of developing players on that side of the ball. Terry Taffy is a promising name in the running back room, but they will need more depth as the loss of Devo Casino noticeably increased the workload on the young back. Another interesting weapon is QB Wolfie Mcdummy, who just finished his first season with Colorado. He showed alot of potential in the DSFL, but he will need to be surronded by offense line and receiving talent. They've got the receivers down though, James Bishop is a pretty good WR1, and Lazlo Fourty-Two is developing. Terry Taffy is also a threat when it comes to catching passes. The defense didn't do much better than the offense, but similar to the offense it has promise. Logan Lejune, Sinclair and Knurtsson form an active trio of safeties. Mo Berry is quickly developing into one of the leagues best linebackers. Bubba Thumper was just recently drafted and will help bolster our defensive line. We need more defensive line talent, including a defensive end in this offseason. If we make some changes we are primed for an Ultimus. Unsung Hero Raymond Vans of the Outlaws was the unsung hero of this years playoffs. In the first game against the Sabercats, Vans arguably had his best game. In a 41-21 blowout, it saw Vans pick of defensive player of the game with a stat line of 13 tackles and 2 sacks. He recorded the second most tackles of any line backer in that game and was tied for the most sacks. Next game, in a 31-3 domination of the Otters, Vans showed his sacking prowess, posting a modest 3 tackles and 2 sacks. Again another common theme, Vans lead the game with the most sacks. His abilities to rush the quarterback might help to explain Showbiz's usually bad night, as the Otter quarterback posted a QBR of 58.3. Finally in the championship game, the Outlaws pulled out a close victory 34-30 to hoist the Ultimus. This was Vans' worst game, but he still was able to have an impact on the game. He was one of two members on his team to record a sack and was tied for first on his team. The only other player in the game who had more sacks than him was the Liberties' McGwire, with 2. Spotlight on the youth I'm going to cast a spotlight on one of the leading S15 wide receivers, Brock Landers. Landers has provided a solid receiving talent all season, and especially in the playoffs. In the first game against the Sabercats, Landers had his best game against Sabercats, posting 102 yards on 4 catches. Reese was having a pretty good game, posting a QBR of 93.5. Having an on-fire Landers and an on-fire Reese is a recipe for success for the outlaws. In the next game against the Otters, Landers caught 4 passes for 73 yards. he was around 4 yards shy of catching half of Reese's passing yards. The Outlaws dominated the Otters on both sides of the ball, and Landers was no exception. In the finals versus the Liberty, Landers had a pretty tame game. posting 36 yards 3 catches. Not the best statlines considering we know what he is capable of. You cant blame him though, it appears that the Outlaws wanted to rush the ball much more, as Slim Shady posted 113 rushing yards and Zephyrous 119 rushing yards. As Landers develops, you can expect him to contribute more in these big games. He's gotten some valuable playoff experience from this run. ![]() 15) Going to Disneyland! Written: Who was the Ultimus MVP? Give us a rundown of their celebratory trip to Disneyland, or describe how they celebrated. In true Disney fashion, the Mouse treated the Arizona Outlaws to a heroes’ welcome. The day began with a historic parade down Main Street, U.S.A featuring cheerleaders, marching bands and a truly impressive amount of confetti. Mickey Mouse led the way as the football champions marched in celebration of their Ultimus victory as Walt Disney World Resort. After their parade, the team enjoyed a full day at the most Magical place on Earth. Guests report seeing the team enjoying all the Disney classics: pineapple dole whip, Mickey shaped pretzels, and fresh churros. The team even took time out of their day to make dreams come true for others, stopping to take photos with eager fans in front of Cinderella’s castle. Jeffery Murphy led the team in concurring Disney’s mountains, taking on Space Mountain first, then moving on the Splash Mountain. The team elected to stick out the long wait for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, taking the time to chat with park guests and enjoy the Florida sunshine. They concluded their magical day with front row seats to the evening’s firework show. The Disney Imagineers had one final treat in store, finishing the show with a final salute to the team: a volley of red fireworks lighting up the night sky. 19) The Big Fellas. Written: Write about a Defensive Lineman in the playoffs, and how they will or did affect the outcome. The defensive line stands stalwart and strong, and too often without proper thanks. These giants deserve to leave an impression in our hearts and minds just as much as the quarterbacks. In considering the Arizona Outlaws and their journey to winning the Ultimus, let us take a moment to consider one such defensive linemen: Marc Spector. Standing at 6'5" and weighing in at around 300 pounds, Spector is certainly one of the big men on the field. This defensive end showed us right out of the gate that he was ready to go to work for his team, getting his first tackle within the first minute of the playoff game against the San Jose Sabercats, and managing to gain another before the end of the game. In the Outlaws’ next game against the Otters, Spector put forward his best work of the playoffs, managing three tackles as well as a forced fumble and recovery in the first quarter. The final feather in the cap for Spector was his sack of G. Showbiz in the third quarter. In the finals, Spector closed things out with another two tackles against Philadelphia. In the celebration of the victories, let us not forget the thiccest of our brethren. Marc Spector, well done.
Our time
The Tijuana Luchadores are absolutely the favorite to win the Ultimini in the next season. First off, we just won the Ultimini, which means that we have the best roster. Second off, I do not believe that we are being hit hard by our player being called up. Call ups and send wons can really ruin a team that was just succesful, because the entire team can be turned upside down on a season's notice. So, this is a pretty big thing for us. IF are roster can stay the same, for the most part, and maybe other teams roster gets pulled apart from call ups, that really does give us quite a big advantage on all of the other teams. Tijuana also a couple of draft picks that we acquired from trades in the past season. We have Portlands second round pick that we got from trading away a maxed out wide reciever to them. Trading way that Wr was risky, especially considering the Pythons were our biggest threat to win the ultimini that year, but it all ended up working out pretty damn good for us, considering that we won that ultimini, beating the pythons in the ulitimini. THe biggest reason why the Luchadores will win the ulitmini is that we have the best GMs gming. This may be alittle biased, and it totally is, but we are the greatest GMs o ever play nsfl ever. ANd it is not even close. I think that alone gives us the best shot to win the Ultimi this year, along with all of the other things going along side with me and TOm Hnaks Gming, we should be unstoppable. Enemies Numbers is a garbage player and a garbage user in the NSFL. Nothing he does is of any value to the league or his team. I still can not believe that any team drafted that garabge person to a team at all. I know that people are not supoosed to go undrafted, but if anybody deserves it, it most certainly is Numbers. The one time he actually did something decent was that really good perfomance in the playoffs. I think he had a pick six and a lot of tackles. But they lost! So I am sure that Numbers was stat paddding, and was definetly putting his numbers ahead of his team winning, which is what a garbage teammate would do, which is Numbers.I am sure that he probably ripped the ball out of an orphans hands midway through eturning the interception so that it was his and not the orphans. That is the kind of garabge user that Numbers is. He cares more about his stats than poor little timmy's happiness. Little Timmy was devastated. I am sure that we will start to see people on the Liberty start to leave the team because they could not handle being in the same locker room as NUmbers. I know that I could not. Thank god the LIberty did not draft me. Interview with Baron Where do you think you rank among the s15 runningbacks? This is a contentious point for me. Obviously I believe that I’ve got the mojo to be the best running back our draft class has ever seen, but I know deep down that I’ll never be as good as my primary rival... Ronald St. James III. This guy can do everything - he can run, he can catch, he can score, he can even block. What more do you want from a running back? DO you think the Wraiths could win Ultimus? Of course we have potential to win the Ultimus. If you look at things mathematically, if you drew the name of the Ultimus winner out of a hat with all ten teams in the mix, Yellowknife has a 1/9 chance of being selected to win. Who do you think is the best player in the league? The best player in the league, and this is a tough one, but I’ll have to go with my pal Ryan Leaf Jr. Honestly, I think Leaf is the best player this league has ever seen, and although I wouldn’t place him higher than 5th, he is very underrated. Where is Gimmy on the QB rankings? Gimmy doesn’t get put on QB rankings. That’s like trying to rank Chick ‘N Minis up against a McGriddle. Gimmy is so good he transcends the definition of what it means to play in this league. That can’t be ranked. Quote:1) Playoff Predictions, Reviews:Wowza we sure had a barn burner of a national simulation football league playoff game or match when the Baltimore Hawks visited the Chicago Butchers and the Butchers were able to squeak out a 16 to 13 victory thanks to three field goals by offensive player of the game Kulture Fulture a kicking legend in the national simulation football league and also a quality rush defense that allowed Baltimore to only rack up 71 yards so yeah it was probably closer than Chicago would have wanted but hey a win is a win in the playoffs like Ricky Bobby once said survive and advance baby survive and advance so yeah I guess that was a disappointing end to the season for the Hawks who could have easily won the game and advanced in the playoffs had a couple things gone the other way like for example when they only gained 2 yards on a 3rd and 4 from the Chicago 11 yard line and had to kick a field goal with 5 and a half minutes left whereas a touchdown and extra point would have given them a one point lead and they would have been a defensive stop away from staying alive and advancing but alas it was not to be even though they gave a good effort and it was a good game that definitely counts in league history because it is in the index. Quote:3) All about the QBsAh yes we had a very interesting quarterback match up in a playoff game this season as Stan Francisco and Gus T T Showbiz faced off in the first round and Francisco is of course a rising star in the qb world while Showbiz is in his prime and they definitely showed that in this game as Stan Francisco went 17 for 34 with 194 yards and 1 touchdown and 3 interceptions while Gus T T Showbiz went 23 for 40 with 318 yards and 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions and also Stan Francisco rushed twice for 10 yards and Gus T T Showbiz rushed twice for 0 yards so that definitely showed the disparity between the two but Francisco is still climbing the ladder and improving so the future is bright for sure and we saw glimpses of this like when Francisco threw a touchdown to Bona Beri Jones in the third quarter it was a super nice throw with perfect touch and placement and the defense was unable to make a play on it which is exactly what you want to see from a quarterback so if Francisco can become a bit more consistent and throw perfect throws every time then he will improve and New Orleans will be doot dooting all over the Otters once again like the way it should be. Quote:6) Our TimeMy team is the Austin Copper Heads and we should be looked upon to be the Ultimus favorites next season for one simple reason and that is that I am on the Austin Copper Heads and I have an incredible track record of turning around franchises like for example I was drafted to the Las Vegas Legion and pretty soon we won two championships and then I was traded to the Baltimore Hawks and we made the Ultimus every season I was there and then I was traded to the Colorado Yeti and we made the Ultimus every season I was there and then I was traded back to the Baltimore Hawks and we once again made the Ultimus every season I was there so as you can see I quickly turned around 3 of the historically worst franchises in the league and now that Austin is still looking for their first ever franchise win I shall do the same for them and turn them around quickly and win my third national simulation football league championship so take that to the bank baby Austin Copper Heads Season 17 national simulation football league champions aw yes all thanks to me and no thanks to anyone else. Quote:7) Next yearWell you see I really just answered this prompt in the previous one so you should scroll back up and read that again for this one because unfortunately my team the Austin Copper Heads is eliminated but we shall rise again and shall soon win a championship because I say so and that isn't meant to be flippant or anything I literally mean that since I say we will win a championship that means that it will happen as I have previously shown my mere presence has turned around the Las Vegas Legion the Colorado Yeti and the Baltimore Hawks which are three franchises that I think we can all agree were the bottom of the barrel at the time I joined them I don't think there will be any dissent about that and we were able to find some success with them and that was without me making any decrees or anything so now that I have decreed that the Copper Heads shall win a championship it is now guaranteed certified to happen so yeah pretty simple answer here really and if you want me to make such utterances to help your team you better prove to me that you're desperate for me and my help by tampering me I won't report you or anything I just want you to be fully in my debt forever and ever.
SHL PT
Username: Your Mother's Favorite Goalie 11) Trades Written: Talk about a player who was traded this past offseason or was a free agent signing and how they will affect the Ultimus, or how they helped their new team in making the playoffs, or cost their old team. Vinny Valentine obviously had a big effect on Orange County, but it looks like now that the dust has settled, the team he had the biggest impact on was Baltimore. The Hawks had a decent passing game last season, but it wasn't great. Much of this was due to a run first focus thanks to a young rookie QB Coat Hanger. However, their lack of weapons didn't do him any favors. One might question this claim. After all, Baltimore had the 4th best wide receiver in yards. There are two things to say about that: The first is that the player who led their team in yards wasn't really their number one option. Both starting wide receivers for the Hawks were close in catches, but Nagasawa was first with 64 catches, 3 over Maddox. Every team but the Austin Copperheads had a receiver gain more yards than Nagasawa last season, not a good look. Next is pass catching depth. Three teams had two players listed in the receiving yards category before we got to Baltimore's second best receiver. All 3 of these teams made the playoffs. If Baltimore had held on to Valentine, I think it would be a safe bet that a conference so tight in competition could have swung in their favor instead. 5) Spotlight on Youth (S15 edition) Written: The first r/nfl wave made our biggest class ever. Now that class is hitting its prime. Write 200 words on one of the players in this year's Ultimus Week that are Season 15 and spotlight on how they can affect or did affect this year's Ultimus. (NSFL Only) The S15 guy I am going to look at today is Arizona Outlaws' safety Lamont McKinnie. The 25th pick in the S15 draft, McKinnie was a force to be reckoned with in the playoffs. In the wild card game, McKinnie was not quite as effective, finishing with only 4 tackles and 1 pass deflection, but that would be his only dud of a game this postseason. In the ASFC Championship game, the defense would dominate, and McKinnie would be a big reason why. He finished with 11 tackles, 2 pass deflections, an interception, and would force a fumble that Arizona would recover. In the ever important Ultimus game, McKinnie would again step up to the plate finishing the game second on the team in tackles with 7. Overall, this would leave him with a playoff stat line of 22 tackles, 3 pass deflections, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble. Another stat to look at that shows the effectiveness of the secondary as a whole, which showcases 3 S15 selections, is opponents passing yards and passing touchdowns allowed. They averaged 296 passing yards allowed per game, and just one TD allowed per game, to go along with one interception caused per game, a very impressive stat line. 3) All about the QBs Written: Write 200 words on one of the QB matchups in this year's playoffs. What are you most excited to see (Or excited to have seen), who will play better (Or who played better), etc. So, we saw 6 quarterbacks in this playoffs, which ones were the best, and which were the worst? To illustrate this, I will make a quick rankings list: 6. Gus T.T. Showbiz - 33/56, 295 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INTs As someone has said before, the extra T stands for extra turnovers, not extra talent. Somehow with the most talented receivers in the league, Showbiz managed to be the only QB in this playoffs without a passing TD, but he did manage 2 picks. 5. Rose Jenkins - 21/32, 231 yards, 3 TDs, 3 INTs With 3 TDs, Jenkins didn't too a bad job, but with 3 interceptions, she didnt do a good one either. Can't make that many mistakes in a playoff game and expect a win. 4. Joilet L. Christ - 28/46, 358 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT Christ had high volume passing, thanks to having to play lots of catch up ball. However, he wasnt too accurate with it, and only ended with 2 touchdowns on 46 attempts. 3. Andrew Reese - 67/117, 732 yards, 5 TDs, 3 INTs Despite winning the Ultimus, Reese never really had a stand out performance. he struggled with accuracy all playoffs, and never cracked 300 yards in a game. 2. Adriana Falconi - 74/122, 962 yards, 6 TDs, 2 INTs Falconi would be the first QB I think had a good performance in the playoffs. She dominated in the first two rounds, passing for over 300 yards both times. However, what puts her here is her failure in the Ultimus game 1. Cooter Bigsby - 21/32, 271 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INT Even without a win, Cooter dominated in the playoffs. He was lethally accurate, made the most of his chances, and was mistake free all game. ![]() ![]() |
